Teamwik

Terms of service

Last updated: [DATE]

Draft. Items in [square brackets] must be completed before these terms take effect.

These terms are an agreement between [LEGAL NAME OR COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS] (“we”), and the business that creates a Teamwik workspace (“you”). Teamwik is for business use. By creating a workspace, you confirm you can accept these terms for your business.

The service

Teamwik lets a team plan workload, keep versions of files, request and record approvals, and keep an audit log. We may improve or change features over time. Teamwik is in early access, so some features may change or be withdrawn; we will give reasonable notice of significant changes.

Approvals and the audit log

An approval in Teamwik records that a named person approved one exact file version at a specific time. It is a record kept inside Teamwik, not a legal or electronic signature, and it does not by itself create a contract with your clients. The audit log is designed to show if old entries were changed; it cannot prevent someone with access to your own systems from copying or misusing data.

Acceptable use

Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of the service, access other workspaces, or use Teamwik to harm others. We may suspend access to stop serious misuse, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Price

Teamwik is free during early access. Planned prices after early access are shown on our website (currently Starter free for up to 3 people, Team £69 a month and Studio £149 a month, excluding VAT). Workspaces created during early access get 50% off their first paid year. We will tell workspace managers at least 30 days before any charge applies, and you can close your workspace or move to the free plan before then.

Availability and backups

We aim to keep Teamwik available and take nightly backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted service during early access. Keep your own copies of files that matter to you.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to [the greater of £100 and the amount you paid us in that period].

Ending

A workspace manager can delete the workspace at any time from Team settings, or you can ask us to. We may end the service with [30] days’ notice, or sooner for serious breach of these terms. After closure we delete workspace data as described in the privacy policy; ask before closing if you want an export.

General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. We may update these terms; we will post changes here and tell managers about significant ones.
